What can you add onto your core cover plan?
Each Iam Insured plan comes with Consultant Select as standard. This cover option gives you all-important peace-of-mind and allows doctors to decide who the right are to give you the treatment you need – as opposed to an insurer. Your consultant will also choose the most appropriate hospital for you to receive your treatment, taking into account your location and condition. But if you would rather have more choice as to where you are treated, you can opt to add a hospital list to your plan.
This cover option includes out-patient consultations as well as consultant fees as and when you need them as part of your treatment. Out-patient diagnostics includes:
- CT & PET scans
- Blood tests
- Radiology and pathology (if referred by a consultant)
This cover option includes out-patient consultations, consultant fees, diagnostic tests and physiotherapy not arranged through their Priority Physiotherapy Network up to a limit between £500 – 1,500. The likes of MRI, CT & PET scans will be covered in full, however – regardless of what limit is chosen. They will also pay you in full for physiotherapy arranged through the Priority Physiotherapy Network.
Full out-patient cover
This Cover Option includes all out-patient consultations, consultant fees, diagnostic tests and physiotherapy arranged through our provider’s Priority Physiotherapy Network.
