Core Cover benefits
Benefits listed are per insured member and per plan year. Any treatment under your plan must take place at one of our eligible hospitals. For a full list of benefits as well as terms and conditions contact one our Iam Insured advisors.
Out-patient treatment
We pay for all out-patient surgical procedures your employees may need.
In-patient or day-patient treatment
| Consultant fees | So long as your employee’s consultant is recognised by us we will pay all of their in-patient fees in full. This includes the costs of surgeons’, anaesthetists’, and follow up consultations. |
| Hospital fees | We cover the costs of overnight stays, nursing and medication required while in hospital as well as intensive care and operating theatre charges. |
| Diagnostic tests | We cover the costs of any diagnostic tests they need whilst admitted to hospital such as blood tests, X-rays and MRI, PET and CT scans. |
Cancer Cover
Cancer cover comes as standard in all our Core Cover. For an additional premium, we can also provide our Extended Cancer Cover which will offer full cover for additional therapies such as biological and hormone or bisphosphonate.

Additional benefits
Employees with access to an Apple or Android phone can access our private GP service at any time or place by downloading the Vitality GP app. Using the app, they can select from a list of our GPs’ and have a private GP appointment from wherever they choose. The only requirement to access the app is iOS8/Android 5.0 or later. Our private GP’s can provide access to GP led treatment and wellness pathways as well as private prescriptions.
