National Friendly health insurance reviews

National Friendly stands out as a smaller insurance provider with a lot to offer to their UK customers. They have designed their health insurance policies with flexibility in mind, giving their members the option of 4 simple levels of cover.

Health insurance can offer you some peace of mind, knowing you have access to the best quality medical care if you become ill. With excellent customer reviews and some brilliant customer benefits, National Friendly could be a good choice for the health cover you need.

About National Friendly

National Friendly is a mutual society that was first established back in 1868, meaning they have been helping to look after the health of UK residents for over 150 years. As a mutual society, National Friendly is owned by their members giving you a greater say in how the business works.

As a Bristol based charity, National Friendly works to support their local community having won awards such as the LifeSearch ‘Doing Good’ award in 2022.

About National Friendly health insurance

National Friendly health insurance (also known as National Friendly medical insurance or ‘My PMI’) is a product designed to help you cover the cost of private healthcare. This gives you access to top quality treatments and specialists, often giving you access to the care you need much faster than the NHS.

National Friendly offers their members 4 levels of cover, so you can tailor your policy to how much cover you need and how much you can afford to spend. You can also opt for family cover to make sure the people you care about most are protected too.

Another attractive benefit is that the claims you make won’t affect how much you pay for premiums (within the first 5 years of your policy). This is alongside other policy features such as comprehensive hospital lists and minimal increase in pricing to have zero excess.
